The Board of Directors of CEC Renewables Limited (the “Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Reuben Kapala Munungwe as Managing Director of CEC Renewables Limited, effective 1 September 2026. Mr. Munungwe takes over from Mr. Hilton Fulele, who has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc.

Mr. Munungwe is an experienced engineer and project manager with more than 21 years’ experience in renewable energy, power-system development, hydropower and thermal-power projects. He previously served as Senior Manager – Renewables at Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc, where he led the development and implementation of projects aimed at expanding CEC’s renewable-energy portfolio.

His experience spans project financing, engineering and construction contracts, risk management, and environmental and social compliance. The Board welcomes Mr. Munungwe and looks forward to his valuable contribution to the Company in his new role.
