Hilton has more than a decade of experience in Zambia’s electricity sub-sector. He began working as a Senior Assistant Engineer with CEC PLC in 2012, specialising in conditioning monitoring and maintenance planning. In 2016, he was transferred to the renewables department of CEC PLC as a Projects Engineer under Solar Development, where he oversaw feasibility studies, project planning, plant design, project implementation management, and operation and maintenance for plant optimisation.

Hilton previously served as Project Manager for the development, construction, and commissioning of the 33 MW Riverside Solar Expansion Project. He later joined CEC Renewables as Asset Manager, a role that has since been elevated to Managing Director.
